With just 10 days before Pitchers and Catchers report to Spring Training, the hunt is on for a veteran starting pitcher. There may be an option available that is just one year removed from an all-star season to help the Pirates rotation. The right-hander is looking to make his way back to the MLB, and the Pirates are said to be one of the team's scouting him. A few years ago, starting pitcher Corey Kluber was at the top of his game with the Cleveland Indians. He was a two-time Cy Young Award winner and helped lead the Indians to the playoffs for three consecutive seasons, including a World Series appearance in 2016. However, injuries have caused him to pitch in just 36.2 innings of work over the last two seasons. He has announced that he will be holding a work out on Monday and inviting scouts across the league to watch his workout. He is looking to prove that at 34-years-old he still has what it takes to be a Big League starting pitcher.
