Trade Talk Tuesday's: A Look at the Trade That Sent Xavier Nady and Domaso Marte to New York
Trades have become a big part of Major League Baseball with the Trade Deadline getting a whole day of coverage on MLB Network. The Pirates have been an active part of that trade market whether it be selling players or building for a winner. Let's take a look back at some of tho see trades and determine who won and who lost. During the 2008 regular season, I was in baseball heaven as my dad and I had a 20-game season ticket plan with the Pittsburgh Pirates. I attended more baseball games that year than ever before and still have all the tickets from the games that I attended. However, one game that stood out to me that year was the night Xavier Nady was traded. My dad and I were sitting in the Centerfield seats and Nate McLouth was in the center with Nady flanking him in right.
