Williams Jerez Looking to Prove Worth After Designation for Assignment

One of the guys they picked up last season was left-handed pitcher Williams Jerez after the San Francisco Giants designated him for assignment. Jerez spent a little time in the Pirates bullpen at the end of the 2019 season but was designated for assignment after the season.
